Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch. Madalyn had fun wanted to go on all the rides and find the biggest pumpkin. It started to get chilly at night now so we went this afternoon so it wasn't so cold for the kids.

Hannah Montana

On Sunday my sister Alycia, Madalyn, Philips cousin Alisha and I went to the city of Hope concert at the Nokia Center in LA. My mom got us tickets to take Madalyn to see Hannah Montana. Thanks Grandma!!!! Madalyn had a great time she didn't care for the boy singing but she loved the girls. She clapped and sang along. During intermission I asked Madalyn if she had to go to the bathroom and she kept saying no as soon as the guy announced Hannah Montana was coming out she said she needed to go to the bathroom. We couldn't believe it. She is so funny!!! Here are a few pictures from the night.

Preston eating rice cereal

We started giving Preston rice cereal. He loved it the first time we gave it to him now he doesn't really care for it. I don't blame him it doesn't look very tasty. He had his 4 month checkup last week and he was 18lbs 1 ounce and 25 inches long. He is wearing 9 month clothes already. He is such a big boy and so much fun. He is always smiling especially when mommy comes in the room. Here are a couple pictures of him enjoying rice cereal.

Madalyn's 1st day of school!

So we decided to put Madalyn in school twice a week for half day. She needs to play with other kids and get some energy out. She was so excited to go her first day but for some reason her second and third day she cried when I left. I guess its normal the teacher said but I still felt like a meany leaving when she was so upset. But she will get used to going and I need the few hour break. Here is a picture of her first day. She looks so cute.

Disneyland trick or treat

A few weeks ago Philip and I took Madalyn to Disneyland for the trick or treat thing they put on. We have never been and it was real cute and fun. We left Preston with my mom so he didnt get cold and fussy since we were going to be home late. Plus it gave us sometime to be alone with Madalyn since she is still jealous of her baby brother. Missouri Trip

So a few weeks ago the kids my mom and I went to Missouri to visit my grandparents. I was nervous about going with two small kids and just the two of us but mom kept saying it will be just fine. I hate flying so I was already freakin myself out before we even got to the airport. Luckily the kids did great. Madalyn loved flying and seriously didnt stop talking. Preston slept most of the flights. On the way out there we stopped in Phoenix Denver and then made it to Tulsa and had to drive 3 hours to the house. It was a long day but worth it. Madalyn loved the cows, horses and playing with Grandpa Erman. Preston slept good and Madalyn usually takes a nap but for some reason when we were there she decided naps werent her thing.
